About the Class
Designed by an Australian Early Years School Teacher the program focuses on holistically developing children's fundamental physical skills through music and movement. Toddlers (alongside parents where needed) and Pre-Schoolers learn balance, rhythm and coordination as well as cognitive skills like counting, paying attention and remembering instructions. Pre-school dance classes allow children to build confidence as they learn through repetition and develop their social skills as they interact with other children. These skills are developed alongside traditional Irish dancing movements and is a fun and rewarding way to begin one's Irish Dancing adventure. Opportunity is given at the end of class for the little ones to choose their final fun activity and every child is rewarded for finishing each Jump’n Jig class.
There are 3 divisions in Jump'n Jig based on age and ability. Baby Jig, Tiny Jig and Mini Jig.
Classes run for 45mins during SA school terms on a Saturday morning. **Other classes subject to enquiry
